Chimaera
A chimaera observed swimming just above the seafloor at a depth of 1,108 meters (3,635 feet) during the eighth dive of the second Voyage to the Ridge 2022 expedition. Note the two red dots visible in the video; these laser points are 10 centimeters (4 inches) apart and are used by scientists to determine the approximate size of things observed. Based on the lasers, this chimaera was about 25 centimeters (9.8 inches) long.
