Happy World Dolphin Day! While we don’t tend to encounter dolphins during our deep dives, it is not unusual for dolphins to be spotted at the ocean surface. This dolphin was seen riding the bow of NOAA Ship Okeanos Explorer as the ship left port to start the Gulf of Mexico 2017 expedition.
