During the Machine Learning for Automated Detection of Shipwreck Sites from Large Area Robotic Surveys expedition, the team will use autonomous underwater vehicle Iver 3 to explore potential shipwreck sites within Thunder Bay National Marine Sanctuary. Data collected using Iver 3 will in turn be used to train and validate machine learning models for shipwreck detection.
