Crab with Squid Snack
This hungry red crab (Chaceon quinquedens) was lucky enough to nab the head of an Illex squid for a meal. It quickly scurried away from remotely operated vehicle Deep Discoverer at 977 meters (3,205 feet) during Dive 09 of Windows to the Deep 2021.
