This beautifully colored Actinerus sp. anemone (order Actiniaria) was observed resting on a seafloor covered with carnivorous sponges (the stalked organisms seen around the anemone at the beginning of the video) at a depth of 2,235 meters (7,333 feet). This sponge-filled scene was common throughout Dive 02 of the Seascape Alaska 3 expedition.
