During Dive 07 of Windows to the Deep 2021, we explored a small canyon on the wall of the Blake Spur. The most abundant group of animals seen during this dive, which exceeded 3,200 meters (10,499 feet) — the equivalent of roughly 8.5 empire state buildings stacked end to end — was sponges.
